Default Top Headliner Vinyle Cleanup Tips

Hi guys, I have SC430 with Ecru color interior. I've been trying to clean up the top headliner every way I can but still can't get those dirt off that has accumulated over time. Obviously, it has never been cleaned in the past 5 years. The headliner looks like is of vinyle, not leather nor plastic as I recall (never paid attention to it). I am about to take my car in to have a professional clean and detail the interior. Does anyone have any tips of cleaning it before I do so?

Thanks in advance.

The textured surface of the vinyl is almost impossible to completely clean with a regular terry towel and a spray on cleaner. You basically push the dirt into the pattern, and its still dirty. Maybe try a liquid cleaner and sponge (don't scrub with the scrubbing pad). After diluting the dirt, you can wipe it away with a dry cloth.

Thanks for the tips. Any liquid cleaner in particular you recommend? I've tried those Lexol leather cleaner, and it is not lifting off ANY dirt.

Maybe something more diluted? The Lexol should have worked, but woolite diluted with water is a good mild cleaner for the vinyl.
