Default Dust

hi, i have a black car and its really dusty. It gets REALLY dusty and everytime i try to wipe it off i get micro swirls.... anyone know how to get a dust free car? My cousin told me to wax it and it wont pick up dirt, but i never heard of that.

I'd suggest using a Quick Detailer with a few high quality microfiber towels. Mist the QD on a small section of the car and gently wipe the dust off, switch to a dry MF and lightly wipe until dry. Repeat turning the MF towel to a clean, dust free surface as you progress. I use Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer for this and it does seem to make dust less of a problem.

If you have a lot of dust you will need to wash or you may get swirls or light scratches in the paint. Just remember to be very gentle with anything that touches the paint.

If you haven't detailed your car in a while it would help to do so. Fresh wax or sealant sheds dust much more readily.
