Default taking off old tint?

The tint on my car just isn't cutting it for me... it must be like 70% or something even higher because you can see into my car as if nothing is there with just a very slight tint to it... I have heard that removing the tint on the rear window is difficult because you could damage the defroster or the built in antenna. Can a good tint shop remove it safely because i want to go with 35% all around

What you have heard is true. An experienced/competent tint shop should be able to get off the rear tint without any damage to the rear defroster/antenna.
