Default sap marks...??

I was parked under/near a palm and it drizzled, leaving sap marks everywhere on my hood. When I washed the car, the sap and stuff came off, but now you can see marks from where the sap landed.... like it stained the clearcoat or something.
Does anyone know what I can do to get those out?? Would getting the car professionally detailed work? It's really bothersome.

try clay bar, and if that doesn't work you can get paint polish and buff the hell out of it. usually i use orbital to take care of these stuff, works best. but then again i am pretty hard core in detailing my car.

make sure you put wax bad on afterwards. either clay bar or polish will take out old wax

After claying I'd try a paint cleaner or polish. Start with something gentle like Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner (Step#1). If this fails try Meguiar's ScratchX. If you have Porter-Cable try Meguiar's #80 or #83. Failing that see a professional detailer who has a paint thickness gauge and a rotary buffer.
