Default cleaning navigation screen

I was just curious what is the best and safest way to clean the fingers prints from my touch navigation screen?

Use a LCD computer display spray cleaner; "Pledge Electronics" for example. Gently polish dry with a Soft cotton towel. Use one washed without any softener. The surface will scratch, so be gentle. I turn the car so the mid day sun reflects on the panel when I clean mine. Then dust up with a microfiber "clear dash plastic" cloth (light blue) purchased at PepBoys or CSK Auto. They work very good.

I use Megs Interior Quick Detailer and an Ultrafine mf towel from PakShak. Plush towels also work nicely.

A lightly dampened microfiber towel with clean water works best. It's uncessary to use sprays and chemicals on the screen.

Yep, the microfiber towel is the key.

As long as there is not alcohol or other dangerous chemicals, an interior detail spray is fine as well.

I concur less any chemicals regardless if it is alcohol free or not. Not necessary.

The best thing to clean the navigation screen is an eyeglass cleaner using the lint-free cloth that comes with it. You can purchase it from any sunglasses hut or some store like that. I tiwill clean it in less than 3 seconds with wonderful results and is recommended by the manufacturers.

I use Klear Screen on all my flat screens. Great stuff that is safe and effective.
Klear Screen and iKlear are the only formula used, sold, or recommended by leading manufacturers such as Apple, Dell, Sony Vaio, HP/Compaq, Fujitsu, IBM, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, and ViewSonic.
Prolonged use of ammonia based or alcohol based cleaners will permanently damage your screen or cause it to yellow.

Klear Screen and iKlear contain a unique 3-step liquid polymer-based formula that LIFTS and DISSOLVES surface contaminants and fingerprints, floating debris off the screen surface, leaving an ANTI-STATIC coating which dramatically reduces surface friction & wear, resists fingerprinting and provides a renewable protective screen barrier.

I use a microfiber towel alone or with a mild glass cleaner such as Meguiar's NXT.
