Hey , I know lexus does compound, simonizing and detailing. They told me for compound &simonize would run me $140. I think that is a fair price. Has anyone ever got their car waxed from the lexus dealer? If so, can you tell me how it looked after?

DM - My wife had the GS detailed at the dealership the first time she brought it in & it looked worse than it did when it came in!! Swirls everywhere - thank God Alex put me onto Zaino! I raised some kinda H*** & didn't have to pay but I watched the detail guys do another Lexus. U could tell that they wanted to just get it done & move onto the next one - can't blame them as they work on commision but never again!! Might just be my dealership. They don't even ask if I want the free wash whenever I bring it in for maintenance anymore. Don't know how the prices run where U live but $140 is high for my area to compound/wash/wax/detail. It runs $65-$85 here but be careful with the compounding part. If they don't know what they're doing, they'll scratch the H*** out of your ryde. Hope the Alpine project's coming along OK?

get it done some where else the biggest mistake I did was taking it to the dealers to get it detailed they didnt do @#$% to it but they did clean up the inside and the engine bay pretty nicely

Biggie, how much did they charge you for that? You did detailing alone, or with waxing outside too?
