Arrow Help with window problems......

Ok, I need some help. My car has some water stains on the passenger side that were there from the last onwer who did not take good care of this car. Im figuring the stains got there because he left it outside in the rain too much and never bothered to clean it . So, are there any good products or things I can do to remove these stains/spots on the outside of the windows??? They look like water beatds dried up after washing your car, but these dont come off for some reason!! Help!

Thanks, Banks.

Default It's etched in mineral deposits from water

You can check into a local glass repair business, they would tell you if it's doable and give you a price.

If you are inclined to try it yourself, Eastwood sells probably one of the best DIY glass polishing kits here;

Note that they tell you that anything you can feel with your fingernail is too deep to remove. That applies more to scratches though, so you should be ok using it on the water marks. Good luck either way.

I have the same problem with spots on my 1998 GS400 and have had some success with McGuires number 9 polish. I think I need to try something a little more abrasive. Did you try the eastwood product? Any success?
