Nothing ridiculous so far. Needless to say this car gets a lot of attention... you know, of the traffic-stopping variety. There are some people who just go crazy when they see it, sticking their heads out of windows, waving, big thumbs up, etc. I have been followed a few times for brief periods, and there are always people who get their phones/cameras out to take pictures (I'm actually surprised none of these have hit youtube or something yet, haha - I've seen at least two people take videos). On the highway, cars will often slow down / speed up to get a better look. I never have gotten this much attention in any car before, not even the Ferrari vehicles I've been in.
The rev limiter is supposed to be 310 miles according to Lexus USA reps and the user manual (although I am guessing it is actually 500km, so technically 310.6mi). Lexus USA's lead LFA tech told me it took about 325mi in #32 for unknown reasons. I'll see how long it takes on mine. There's no "recommended" maximum speed - it's just the rev limiter at 7400 rpm. Admittedly I don't think I've broken 85mph or so, but that's more just because I haven't taken it to the track or any roads where high speeds are safe (safe meaning mostly from cops...........). I've definitely taken it close to 7400rpm, though.

Here are the long-overdue delivery pics. The LFA took up most of the space in the delivery garage area so it was a little tough to maneuver around to get good total body shots. Bright so a bit overexposed - for example, the wheels look brighter than they normally would, and the paint also shows more difference in brightness than normal.
^ Closeup look at the rear diffuser and also reflection on the floor titles of part of the exhaust assembly (more on that later). Also, note that the two fins on the diffuser are not made of CF; they're actually plastic, so are cheaper to replace in case my car runs into some unfortunate clearance issues. (There's one fin on each side of that central exhaust housing; both are visible in the picture, although the rear left one is mostly hidden by the exhaust housing.) There are also similar fins under the front lip, and those are also plastic. So when you've heard LFAs scraping on bad approach angles, it's probably actually just been these plastic fins.
I've always loved the headlight (it was really cool to see just the assembly itself at the LFA factory tour).
I had one request during delivery: I wanted to get a good view of the underbody, because I had never seen the underbody (the LFA I saw on the lift during my factory tour - which I think was #44 - didn't have the CF panels on the underbody installed yet - this of course was good for viewing the internals, but I had still never actually seen the complete form). Fortunately, the dealership was more than happy to have the LFA PS drive the car over to the service area and put it on one of the lifts.
^ Pic just to show how flat the underbody is.
^ Note the chassis number written on the exhaust.
As I mentioned previously, I am told the CF panels are actually inexpensive parts (given that they are CF, anyway). Of course, labor may be a different story.

Such a special car, truly more than just another exotic. Congrats to you gengar!
Every line on the LFA reminds me of a finely crafted katana! It's sleek and beautiful with just enough attitude. Great color choice too!

***Sigh*** Has Lexus USA moved the last of the extra allocation, or are a few still available? Also, are the 50 slots for the Nur cars already taken up?
Gorgeous car Gengar. Excellent colour combo too.
