Yeah, the steering wheel recalibrate 90 degrees once while I was driving! Kind of scary.

The only options are mist, off, auto, lo, and high. How do I move it out of the auto to int? There is no int.

Thank you. It is a dark sparkling red in person. The pictures don't do it justice. I hope the black interior is not too hot in the summer. But I guess the ventilated seats will help. It would be nice to be able to start them up before I entered the car.

You should call in to Lexus about this. They did a recall of all the LS460s for this exact issue.

Got a couple of other questions in case anybody knows.

My android phone was a breeze to connect to the car's blue tooth. And the car's hands free phone works fine. But when I play music from my phone using a cassette adapter it interferes with this. I apparently cannot play music from the phone and utilize the blue tooth hands free at the same time. Is there anyway around this? I guess I know the answer, get a separate mp3 player.

With the ML, I can play dvd's which is nice. But many dvd's don't start without a menu selection which is only possible when the car is parked. Is there anyway around this? I don't really want to mod it to display video while the car is moving, but it would be nice if there was some cd-like rudimentary controls available so I could start the darn thing. Is there any solution for this?

But I do love the ML. No, it is not after market boom box powerful, but plenty good enough for me. I think it sounds great. It also has sat. Sweet, although the channels are slow to change.

Sorry to hear about your steering problems. There was a factory recall on the steering rack that included the 2006 GS430. I had mine replaced first part of 2009. You may want to check with your local dealership to verify your car was/wasn't part of the recall.

Have you considered just buying the 2 sensors and replacing it by yourself? It shouldn't be that difficult, and you'll save a load of money.

I also would like to know how to do this, if infact it is true?

My auto wiper mode is just not right. It goes slow and then fast and then nothing and the window is covered. My wifes 2004 RX auto wipers are the best in auto mode. I have a feeling my car has a bad sensor or something but I would rather use the int. Anyone have an answer on this?

owners manual states that it can be reprogrammed from auto to regular interval operation at the dealer. No way to put it in INT yourself with the AUTO feature. FWIW, Auto feature on mine works great. Rarely have to touch it but never more than a click of the + / - dial, usually in misting or just rained conditions.

^^ That does nothing for me. I guess I will have to ask the dealer unless someone can give me a solid answer on this.

solid answer - call your dealer and ask them how much to reprogram to INT rather than Auto mode.
