Lexus Skid Control ECU
I'm selling my skid control ECU. You're wondering why you might need it. This will mostly interest 2006 IS 350 / IS 250 owners. This is a skid control ecu from a 2007+ IS 350. As 2006 owners know, you must do the pedal dance in order to fully turn off traction control. This is very annoying and can only be done when starting the car. Otherwise you can press the button and it's only partially off and comes back on at 60km/hr anyways. Once you decide that you want traction control back on, you can't turn it back off unless you turn off the car.
THIS IS WHY YOU NEED IT: It will act as if you have a 2007 car. So if you press and HOLD the traction control button off, everything is fully off! You can turn it back on, off, whatever you want like a 2007+.
This is the single best mod I did to my 06 IS350. The install takes 5 minutes with a 10mm socket, it's extremely easy.
If you have a 2006, your part number will be the same. HOWEVER, on your actual ECU it will say "V5, V6, V9" etc. IT MUST SAY "VT" in order for it to be a 2007+. Mine says VT.
It's been documented here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...d-today-2.html
Here is my own thread clarifying everything: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...questions.html
The part number can be found here: 89540-53290
http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/l...540-53290.html
It's listed as $1629 on sale.
I'm asking $200 + shipping. I will only accept PayPal or meet in person in the Toronto area.
