sometimes the ballast is good.. might be the bulb itself. swapping a bulb is much easier than the ballast

sometimes it couldn't tell from the bulb.. but do a search and u will find out the bulb came with the car is not good and it flickers or don't light up (in auto mode).. get one from ebay, replace it and done.. no need to be expensive bulbs .. good luck and let me know
