My driver side light goes out once every so often. It doesnt flicker or anything...it just goes out. Like night it will work perfectly fine. But today it would work for a good 15 mins, then shut off. You think its a faulty ballast or bulb?

 

Could be bulb or ballast. Simple test...

Swap bulbs side to side in vehicle. If issue remains on driver side then it's the ballast. If it moves to px side it's the bulb.

yeh didnt want to do that but guess i have to. what if the car is still under warrenty, can i just bring it in and let them deal with it?

 

Usually the bulb.

 

try swapping the left and right with each other and see if the problem follows the bulb. if its the bulb i bought my 6000K bulbs off of ebay for $25 and had them in since march.....still burning strong.
