What a "part out" is.... and what it is not.
2IS members,
There are many 2IS classified threads titled "part out", and I'm posting this to ask you to stop using that term unless you have an ENTIRE vehicle you are selling parts out of. That means the engine and transmission, doors, windows, dashboard, etc. are all being removed from the vehicle and sold. You'd do this for example if you wrecked your car and bought it back from the insurance company.
If you're selling off all your modifications, please state what they are in the title or "selling all aftermarket parts" etc. It's not a part out unless you're disassembling the OEM stuff as well.
We've got very specific classified rules on true part outs and I'd like to ask you to please help get the nomenclature correct.
Thank you.
