They probably can but I don't think it would be cheap. There is a bit of R & D into fitment. It may be easier to have a template for a mold but then you'd already have one if you have something to use for the mold.
In the end, it is just fiberglass (although there are different levels of quality there too). You can try, but it may be more cost effective and easier to wait. Let's say it takes another month of waiting, I don't think you'd be able to come up with a good product in a month. And at the potential costs (I don't know for sure but I don't think it would be cheap) you'd have to sell some to make the $ back. BUT then you'd be going up against companies like JP, UGO, and L-Sportline.
If you have means and are ambitious and want a one of a kind, go for it. Power to ya.

I think you should wait for one that is already measured and designed for the GS unless you have a bodyshop guy you trust and who has done custom work before for you. Otherwise you don't know what you'll end up with.

I think for awhile, UGO was not even making them any more. I was on the list but there was not even a guarantee that it would happen. Steve is the man though. He put together a big enough order and got on them enough that they started production again. Hopefully for you guys, it is just a question of when and not if (like it was for me).
