WTD: Japanese market GS430 HID Headlights
Looking for a right-side Japanese market headlight, auto-level, and HID headlight for my crashed 01 GS430.. But just in case someone is selling a complete set I'll buy that instead.. Or would it be better to go and replace the one that's not broken with a new set of non-HID with the LED bulbs.. $1500 at the dealers for one of them..

Find them used, here at the classifieds or ebay.
Why would you want Japanese market light? it's flared up at the wrong side that it'll blind the on coming motorists.
USDM HID have autolevelling provided your car had the HID option (don't know if it's standard or option for 01+), IF your car came with halogens, it's pointless to install OEM HID, might as well go aftermarket as the autolevelling can't be utilized anyways since you won't have the height sensors.
Also, see if your light is green tinted or clear, since you wouldn't want to buy one that's different....

The beam pattern is different. Remember that the Japanese drive on opposite sides of the rode than we do. As a result, their street signs are on different sides of the rode. If you look at your beam pattern, you'll notice that the outside periphery of the beam pattern is angled high.
USDM: Angled high on the right.
JDM: Angled high on the left.
If you drive with JDM headlights on US roads, you'll blind incoming traffic on the opposite side of the street because the beam pattern is angled high on that side.
