Got a nice 99 GS400 sitting in my garage with a blown engine

But it's all good.

So now looking for a 99 GS400 engine with harness and ecu.

I can find plenty GS300 engines at reasonable price but GS400 are a little harder to find. Got a few quotes but want too see if anyone has one that they want too sell after a swap Preferably in Florida.

Just pulled the engine out today and it's beyond repair. Need to be shipped to FL 32909

Whats happening.

If it's the same place, GRIP in Melbourne, is also looking. I found several motors but all are out of state.

Was trying to find something in FL where I can pick it up. For some reason engines in FL cost 500 - 1000 more then the cost +shipping everywhere else in the country . Not sure why

Is it possible to locate a 1 or 2jz.. Would this route be cheaper or are you looking at about the costs.. Yes i was talking about GRIP in Melborne.. THey took great care of Adrian and his GS I'm sure they would do the same..

I can actually get a 1J for the same price as a GS400 engine. The problem is the cost to put it in a GS400 is a lot more then putting the same 400 engine.

I pulled the motor out with a friend of mine and it's pretty much toast. I did find several engines in Texas, Cali and Alabama. Got someone on here also who has one for sale in MD. So just looking at my options right now.

I'm gonna hook you up i just pulled my gs400 motor to put my 2jzgte vvti I'm located in south florida you can have the whole engine just shoot me $400 or whatever you feel you can spend since its christmas pm me if your interested.

I'm in dire need of a harness and ECU for the exact same car as the OP. If anyone knows of one, PLEASE let me know. I've been looking for almost 6 mos. with no luck.

I ended up building my original engine because I got 2 bad "used" motors here in GA. Now, all I need is the harness and I can get my girl back.

Any help would be appreciated and rewarded.

Hey,

Found several engines in FL but they all want more then out of state ones. All good priced engines are either in TX or CA. Found about 4 engines but they all need to be shipped in.

BTW am working with another clublexus member who is replacing his complete motor with a 2J VVTi. However I do not know what state it will be since they are using some of the harness for the conversion.

He is suppose to let me know when I can pick it up. I'll PM you with pics once I have it.
