what's the difference between that one and the 98-00 ones?

The diference is that the color is a dark grey graphite finish and the silver color trim on the rings as you can see. The 98-00 models came with a color coordinated(and finish) cluster, black/charcoal, tan/taupe..... Also note the turn signal lamps and harnesses are diferent from the 98-00 and are not interchangeable with the 01+. If you have a 98-00 and want to upgrade, you will need to also upgrade the turn signals and harnesses. They are all of however plug and play from pre 01 to post 01 as long as you have the turn signals and cluster. They are not normally inlcuded when purchasing the cluster from dalerships . I hope this helps... Not exactly .02, but more like $1.00
