ok guys i got a used EDFC motor for sale. it is in good condition and works well ..
ill sell for 20 plus shipping
(i ordered new one thinking it was my problem, but when installed same thing happened and i found a bad wire)

Electronic Damping Force Controller, basically it turns the **** on the coilovers that control the damping force, so you dont have to get out of the car and go under the hood or in the trunk to do it.
