In one of the first big upsets of Nitto’s Battle of the Streets, the Lexus LFA completely dismantled the Mercedes AMG C63. In Stuttgart, they’re already calling it “The Tragedy of Los Angeles.”

Going to the dealer for service, such as an oil change, can be a real pain. You have to spend a good chunk of your day driving across town, filling out paperwork, and waiting. Imagine if you had to drive to another country, though. If you’re the owner of a Lexus LFA in Europe, that’s exactly what you have to do.

This video covers every aspect of the LFA build, from its initial inception as a car design, to the creation of the unique V10 engine, to the record-breaking Nurburgring run.

Neill Blomkamp, the South African director of such movies as “District 9” and “Elysium,” recently told Motor Trend, “My mom says that some of the first words that I knew were car names.” In the years since his childhood, Blomkamp’s learned the name “Lexus LFA” – from his experience owning one.

Well, folks, the verdict is in. We had been wondering what Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson would think of the new Lexus RC F. Now we know … and wish we didn’t.
