Is This Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition Worth 12 Times Its Original Price?
We all know of the now defunct Lexus LFA’s awesome looks, ridiculous performance, and magical sounding engine. But is all of that enough to commission nearly 12 times its original price?
According to news out of Germany, the sales manager at Lexus Rosenheim in Deutschland seems to think so, because his store just listed a Pearl Yellow, Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition for a mind-boggling €6,430,000 Euros, or $7.17 million American greenbacks.
Granted, this stunning LFA is extra special, because it’s been hand signed by none other than secret race car driver, sports car extraordinaire, and Toyota’s current CEO, Akio Toyoda. But, you and I know that his signature isn’t worth that much money, and neither is the car itself. Think about what you could buy for that kind of money?
While it’s an awesome gesture on Toyoda’s behalf to sign this vehicle, and for Lexus to conceal the autograph under the clear coat, it doesn’t really multiply the cost of an original LFA twelve-fold.
I’m curious to see what happens to this one!
