From all appearances, Lexus seems to be a success on this continent. What about across the Atlantic in Europe, though?

The 2018 Lexus LC 500h may still be a long way off, but the Lexus marketing campaign is already in full gear.

There’s no doubt that Lexus has been steadily eating up some of Western Europe’s luxury automobile market, but they still have a long road ahead if they want to beat out the Germans. Hopefully, the LC 500 and LC 500h should help make up some ground.

Well, that didn’t take long. In January, we got wind that Lexus was planning a hybrid version of its LC 500, which was an award-winning hit at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Now comes this news.

Lexus is only planning on making 6,600 models of the 2018 LC 500, with only some 4,000 of those making their way to the U.S.

Okay, we’ll admit it, this photo of the new 2017 LC 500 could be a lot better. But hey, at least you can get a feel for how good she’ll look in blue, right?
