Wheel/Tyre/Coilover combo Q?
New here, only just registered.. I'm not sure if this is the right section to put this in but I'll explain my predicament.
Car: 2006 IS220d (same chassis as IS250 RWD)
I've started to build my vip IS and just went and ordered a set of rare AME wheels that are 19x9+25 front, 19x10+25 rears and plan on putting 215/35 front and 235/35 rear to get a little stretch on the Tyre, helping arch clearance also.
I'm on the lookout for coil overs, at the moment looking at BC Racing BR Type RS ( http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/applicati...type-rs-3.html )
and its giving a few different choices, spring rates, and an "extra low" option.. I do plan on putting the car quite low, but don't want wheels/tyres to foul on arches.
Is there any recommendation of a good coilover spring rate that would give maximum stiffness as I do use the car daily and it is driven the odd time on some crappy back roads,
Martin.

Have you been to the dedicated IS forums, not only here at CL but elsewhere? The one here has an entire sub-forum section on suspension modifications https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...2006-2013-163/
There is another forum look at this http://my.is/forums/

You may also want to learn to use the search feature as I am sure your issues have been covered previously. And, welcome to CL!
