20x9 rim, should I run 225/30 or 235/30
Hi guys, having a hard time deciding if I should run 225/30 or 235/30, on a 20x9 front wheel for my IS250.
Use to running 19's but getting 20's now. For the rear im going to run 255/30/30 on a 10.5.
Thanks
Stan

What offset and how low you drop on the car? I have 20x9 +38 and 20x10.5+45 and run 245-30-20& 285-30-20 on F-sport springs and struts, the rear fender rolled, some member run 225/30&255/30 to match the stock diameter, to me I don't like stretch looking tires and it easy to scratch or chip the rims edge

its all about what you want. but things to consider before choosing the tires: how are the roads you drive on (smooth or rough)? do you want to lower your car in the future? lots of other things to consider too but those to me were important.
ohiois350 pretty much summed it up for ya
i am currently on 225/30 and 255/30 on my 20x9 and 20x10.5 that i just got and damn is it stretched i like it although the rims are decently close to the ground so i do drive a little more cautiously then when i had my stock 18's on
