What are you opinions on Varrstoens?
I originally wanted Work Varianza Schwert SC1 rims, but now I'm wondering why I wanted them lol. My brother and a few of his friends suggest I get Varrstoens, but the only ones I liked are the BBS LM knockoffs (Varrstoen 1.1.2). A few of my friends flamed me for thinking about getting Varrstoens only for the fact that they're knockoffs. But I feel that "How often do you see people rocking real BBS rims?" Of course I don't intend on trying to make the Varrstoens as if they were BBS rims, so I would use the center caps they have (Does anyone know if they come with the wheels?)
Ultimately I only care if Varrstoens are quality rims that aren't super fragile, they need to be strong. I don't want to pay for garbage.

I've heard of people driving for years on knock offs, and then I've heard of people cracking them during the first week. It really depends on your roads, suspension, and tire size to be honest. Someone in the 2nd Gen IS forum posted a picture of a Varrstoen/BBS LM knock off wheel that was completely destroyed a few weeks ago. I love the BBS LM style on our SC and would get them if I could. Everytime I find a set with a nice sizing/offet for a good price they are sold pretty quickly.

Great wheel for there price. My friends has tire shop and sells the varrstoen wheel line a lot. He has never had anything bad to said about them. My buddy rocks the varrstoen LM lookalikes on his Pearl white gs in all black. They look pretty dope.just because they are a knock off wheel doesn't make them bad. Tell your buddy's to stick to buying 4000 dollar wheels and tires and you can buy 2 sets of varrstoens lol.

From what I've seen, Varrstoens seem to be good wheels. A lot of the local guys daily drive their cars with Varrstoens and haven't had any issues.
About the same time you posted this thread, someone on Supraforums asked the same question and it wasn't good. The guys on there had issues with the lips cracking or the wheels breaking. While I haven't seen this happen myself, you may want to keep on researching the wheels. I personally think they're good wheels for the price, but I don't own a set myself.

We were discussing these in the LS400 forum:

Owner's comment:
Depends on roads, suspension and tire fitment, etc. IDK if I'd want to roll on a stiff suspension over pot holes and with an aggressive stretch with a 35 series tire. If running a fat set-up or traditional tire fitment, probably safer.
