noobie to wheels & need help on offset fitment
I was interested in picking up a set of rims off a 2nd gen IS but was afraid the fitment would be too aggressive for my 2nd gen GS without any fender mods. for the pros out there can anyone give any guidance on how these might or might not fit. current mods on my suspension are only kyb & eibach which is roughly a 1.5 drop with 2 finger gap from wheel to fender. with no plans for fender modifications will i run into any issues? (rubbing, turn lock/lock, bumps)
the wheels that are being sold is off a IS below is the size.
20x9 + 38 and 20x10.5 +45mm. wrapped in 235/30/20 and 275/30/20
thanks for any information.

actually, that should look pretty nice... good chance it is going to rub though - rear fenders possibly, front fender liners... nothing that can't be fixed with rolling the fenders rear and trimming a little in the front...
it may fit just fine with that high of an offset - would be close...

you think it would rub though at my height level? 2 finger gap.

I'll be running 20x9 +32 and 20 x 10.5 +42 next week with 245 30 20 and 275 30 20.. I was told by a few people that i will have no issues at all.. I'm on coils so if i have to adjust i can... The lower offsets in the +15 to +25 is when i beleive you need to start trimming and moddifying.... I went through this same questions yesterday lol..
I think you'll be fine with no issues..

These size are my recommendation for that vehicle as well, with the offsets it doesn't appear to be a problem but it may take some tweaking on your part as far as the ride height and compression ratio of the coil-overs. The rear wheel may be the only issue as it is a little wider than I would recommend, but with very little modification you should be able to make this would.
