VSXX wheels and I need help w/ tires, help me guys - n00b here
Sup guys, n00bie here. Help me out with buying the right tire size for my car.
Car: 02 IS300
Suspension: stock
Wheels: VSXX 18x8(front) and 18x9(rear) both at a +38 offset
So I don't plan on dropping my car and the 40 profile tires are gonna look weird on it. I was wondering if i bought tires that are 225/45/18 (front) and 245/45/18 (rear), will that be ok w/o doing anything to the car? I tried looking for 235/45/18 for the rear but can't seem to find them in the brands I want.
I'm thinking either the Hankook Ventus V12 or Nitto Inovations. Any suggestions on these tires also?

I would suggest 215/40/18 for the fronts and 245/35/18 for the rears. Those tires will give you an overall diameter of 24.8" compared to the factory 24.6" (17" wheel) or 24.9" (16" wheel).
The 45 series tires you have listed will be too large for the 18" wheel throwing your speedometer off.
