Pros & Cons with a Staggered Setup
My rims are finally chosen and I think I want a staggered set up.
I've searched on the subject but really couldn't find anything about the set up, other than not being able to rotate the tires. Other than the aesthetic appeal, what good is a staggered setup?

I have had many people tell me that there is a great handling benefit associated with the bigger out back setup. One of which was a SC owner with a insane turbo kit.
other than the non-rotation another negative may be slightly higher (or much higher) weight out back, and increased cost of tires.

off the top of my head, normal setup you can rotate tires, at least front and back.
but with staggered, you get more traction in the back, big plus for our cars, and also you can get more lips in the back, which is good. also from the rear of the car the tires would look wider and more aggressive looking

pros:
- good looks, especially with the sexier lips / deeper spoke on the rear rims
- improves handling
cons:
- cannot do tire rotation
- meaning that thread life will be shorter
- more $$
