Question How much was your spring install?

As the title says. I was quoted over $700 from the dealer and that kind of blew me away for a spring install. Dealer usually is in the $400 range. I know the GS has a new suspension but egads

Did you go elsewhere? Thanks.

I was quoted a "F Sport" special of $900. Normally, $1100 for all 4 corners. 1.5hr/corner and the alignment is additional.

Do you need spring compressors? Was your alignment adjusted back to stock settings? If not, how close were they able to get?

Did mine 2 weeks ago for free due to a deal I have with the sales manager. Did see the invoice from the service to the sales department and it was $400 excluding the alignment which I will have it done once I have the wheels and tires mounted. I expect the alignment to less than $200.

Yes, you need a spring compressor. You can get one at autozone. Im going with coilovers not springs on my car, but I have done it with my friends car. Most likely you will not be able to get the camber to stock settings in the rear unless you get custom upper A arms.

So there is enough adjustment in the front to get back to stock alignment settings?

I was quoted $300 here in Norcal from an outside shop. Alignment is another $100.

This is the problem I am having here in NJ. I am having a hard time finding someone to install springs under $500. We don't have the car culture here that Cali does and car installs cost more here. If anyone knows where in New Jersey I can get these springs installed closer to $300 let me know.

Sorry to hear about those ridiculous prices. I got mine done for $240 with alignment, lol. Just don't believe what these shops tell you "Oh this is a really new car, and there is a steering sensor and this and that" The job is super straight forward. BTW I did not go through the dealership for install.

Just got my Swift Sport Springs installed this past Friday at a local shop that has been in business since 1995 and they charged me $350.- Getting the alignment done this Saturday at the Lexus dealer along with programming the TPMS sensor codes from my new ISSForged 20's.

Got mine done at Buckhead Imports here in Atlanta at a very reasonable price. The install is super easy in the rear since the spring is separate from the shock.
