Brake Pedal Ratling

I was wondering if anyone else has any issues with their brake pedal rattling. It seems like something is loose and there is alot of side to side play in it.

I would have it checked out...or look yourself...it's not too complicated. On another note, has anyone replaced or drilled the existing pedals with after-market pedals? Any recommendations on what brands work the best?
