Default Groaning noise from Driver side front suspension

Hi,

I just bought my car, and it came with Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. I'm getting a really loud groaning/creaking sound coming from the front driver side suspension. The previous owner said it was the bushings where the springs meet the shock platforms.

Is this a common occurence, and what is the best way to stop the noise?

get some wd 40 spray lower perch area and up towards mounts under the fender well.. i have the ltuned and from time to time i get that noise .. i am actually switching to the better performing and nicely designed DAizens progressive rate springs which have a durable wrapping around the first 2 coils for noise supression but for now the wd 40 will keep them quiet

Thanks for the information. Is there a more permanent fix for this noise other than changing the springs? The groaning noise only occurs when I'm driving slowly and going over bumps and/or turning the steering wheel when car is stopped or moving very slowly.

Also, doesn't WD-40 eat rubber? I don't want the rubber perch to discintegrate prematurely because of the spray.

WD-40 isn't a lubricant; it's a dessicant (gets rid of water). Use the silicone spray............

Sounds (play on words) like it's sway bar bushings rather than springs.

Get some of the grease that Daizen uses w/ their sway bars. I packed my poly bushings months ago with their 'goop' and it eliminated all the creaking and groaning.

Good Luck!
