Default Sage RCA spacer BOLT issue w/ stock 17" wheels

hey guys,

so i went to put on my winter wheels today, which went on without problem.
Then with everything torqued and good to go, I started my car and proceeded to reverse out of my garage.
Upon doing so, the front wheels would NOT move. (Awd).
the first thought was: weak stock offset wheels are rubbing against inner suspension components: FALSE (there was still plenty of room upon checking).

now comes the problem: I was able to discover that the head of the bolt that sticks out from the SAGE RCA spacer kit was sticking out enough to contact the inner barrel of my wheel, preventing it from moving. I found that it definitely had to do with this one bolt as upon lifting the car again and attempting to rotate the wheel, the bolt was digging into the inside of the barrel scraping at it!

i have attached a picture of the bolt behind my summer wheels so you have some idea of what I'm talking about.

anyone experience this? i am going to pick up 2 5mm spacers tomorrow morning to see if moving the wheel out a bit will help. Fingers crossed as the car is currently immobile.

yet another reason why this will be her last winter as i hunt for a new daily driver.... :/

Since the heads on those bolts are so large, would you be willing to grind down the head enough to clear the wheel? "Free mod" and still safe in my book.

The bolt is stacked with a locking washer and a bigger washer. I made the choice to run without the locking washers, as I felt that the bigger washer was more important for force distribution. From factory, the bolt that normally goes there is also without a locking washer.

This brought the bolt up about 2-3mm, and was enough to clear the barrel of my winter wheels

I know! oddly enough I never had this issue before with my winter wheels.
This will likely be the last year she sees winter anyway!
