i'm thinking up getting KYB shocks and struts for my GS4 but i heard that the stock suspension is already KYB? And i also hear that the L-Tuned suspension is KYB as well? Can anyone shed some info for me?

also, is there much difference from upgrading from stock shocks and struts to L-tuned (KYB?)??? I think the stock ride is too soft on bumps and turns.

I know that the L-Tuned struts are made by KYB.. As for the regular factory ones I'm not sure.. Also with the L-Tuned upgrade it will tighten it up abit but nothing really drastic and you'll also get just over 1" drop..

so just with the l-tuned shocks and struts, my car would have a 1" drop? i always thought u had to get new springs in order to drop the car. another question, how's the overal ride comfort compared to the stock setup? is it more bumpy?

The [making quote marks with fingers in air] "LTuned kit" is a combination of both shocks and springs.

The springs I think are Eibachs.

Drop of about 1.25 all around.

what type of KYB did the L-tune use..??
is that the KYB GR-2..?

L-tuned is made by KYB...and you will get slightly better improvement on the ride and handling...the stock ones are made either by KYB or tokico(most likely KYB, though a firm as the L-tuned)

What I meant by the L-Tuned upgrade was Struts and Springs... Using stock springs and L-Tuned struts won't drop the car.
