Oliver,
The manager called and told me that the model Lexus GS430
has already a recalibrated steering ECU. They said you dont need it. Send me an email whether I still need to buy it .
----------------------------------------------------------
Some have mentioned on this board that the '01 GS430 does not have the steering ECU, while others who have the '02 said that it was a flip of a coin and the '03 GS430 definitely have it. I have the '01 model. The people at Carson Toyota say all GS430s have it.

Do I force the issue and just buy the steering ECU?
