My OEM shocks are leaking, need recommendations for replacement
Hi, my rear and front shocks need replacement, they have lasted until 107K miles which is what I have now. It is a 2007 IS 350.
I want to keep my stock suspension, I love the ride quality for the past 4 years and don't want to change it or lower it. What are my options? I have been doing some searching and this is what I have come to so far:
Tokico High Performance shocks $550 shipped. I just ask from a vendor. Our stock are made by Tokico.
Also, you can ask in the classified section for OEM shocks. There are plenty of the ones who are on coils will have the OEM suspension and they will sell it for like $100-200 range. Make sure you ask how many miles they have first. I sold mine for like $100.
2012 IS250 FSport Package & Nav: FSport Exhaust & Intake & Rear Sway Bar, Eibach Springs, TSW Nurburgring Wheels, 3M Clear Bra, Blue Brake Calipers, Molded MyRide Diffuser, 8000k HID all around, Blue Interior LEDs, JL Audio, Opticoat Entire Car.
if you want to keep the smooth lexus ride, then your only option would be OEM shocks. nothing aftermarket is as good in terms of comfort. sewell doesn't have the best prices. google lexus oem parts, I am sure you can find them for less that what sewell charges.
