Default coilovers height adustment question

our front wheel wells sit higher than the rear ones, therefore if i lowered to have similar wheel gaps front and rear, my car would be sitting with front tilted lower. i had this happened to me when i first installed my coilovers couple weeks ago and i noticed front underbody carriage scraped a lot too. i then raise the front to be equal heights as the rear when measure from the front and rear door sills. but now the front has more wheel gaps than the rear. how do you guys find that perfect drop without sacrificing the factory geometry of the car?

When measuring from the front and rear door sill area the is350 with the oe 18" staggered size tires sits about 1/2" to 3/4" lower in the front from the factory, not equal height... If you measure from the top of the wheel well to the ground the front sits about a 1/4" lower when stock... I like a subtle drop, measuring from the top of the wheel well my front is lowered to 24.75" (1.5" drop) and the rear is at 25.25 (1.25" drop)...It really comes down to personal preference and how low you want to go and for what purpose...

I be leave most cars you look at the front and rear wheel well aren't equally shaped. Hence when lower the rear look more tucked then the front. I usually have the rear sitting a tad higher then my front.

my original setup was like yours, front is a tad lower than rear so the wheel gaps are at least comparable on both. but i could not deal with the constant scraping from the undercarriage, so i raised the front to be even as the rear when measure from door sills, but now the wheel gap difference is very noticeable. i'm trying to strike that perfect equilibrium where function meets looks. i think i will lower the front a tad bit (like 3/8 of an inch)

I just made my ride height equal all around, fender-to-ground. Wheel gap is definitely not the same; but when looking at the car from the side, you can tell the car sits level by the side skirts being level with the ground.

My car, ( 06 is350 non-spt package) with oem suspension was measured at 26.25 LF, 26.5 RF, 26.5 LR, 26.75 RR... From my understanding the sport suspension would be lower in the front only by .4"...

^My '06 350 w/ sports pkg started at ~26.5 at all four corners, then slammed down to 23.5" up front and 24" out back (35 series tires in front/40 out back).
