mechanic cost of replacing struts...
Hi,
Am replacing wife's DD 93/400 stock struts with KYB's. Using existing coils.
Sorry, I'll type slower. IYO, Is $350 a reasonable amount for a non-lexus mechanic to charge for replacing front/rear struts, mounts and boots?
Thanks,
LMA

$350.. Not bad if you just don't want to get your hands dirty. The fronts are very easy, like 20 mins each easy. The rears, or at least mine, were a pain because my bushings were soooo stiff. Either way, for someone with moderate skills it can be done in 2 hours or less. $175 an hour is a solid hourly lol
