BCR coilovers install
I want to install my BCR coilovers today. I was wondering if anyone knew how hard it is to do? I did some research and it looks straight forward and how long will it take to do??

That's great to know cause I rather do it myself if I can. Thanks for the info. The car is going to look a lot better once it's lowered!
I will have to rip out my truck liner to get the rear suspension off then go from there right?

Just make sure you have some PB blaster on hand in case your bolts are rusted out. But other than that it's just a few bolts. We spent about 6 hours on my springs which take a bit longer. Granted that included frequent breaks, dinner as well as doing it by hand.

Just to help out...as an alternative to pb blaster for rusted bolts...
I have used this:
http://www.loctitefreezeandrelease.com/
Loctite Freeze and release....
does the job very well for stubborn bolts...
used it many times when doing suspension work on my old project cars

I got it done it sure did take longer than I thought. Thanks for all the tips, this was a good learning experience. The car is much lower now! I have some ribbing issues. Fixed a bit of it but my front rubs on a bolt that is going to take a while to fix.

So I out my coulovers on and now I hear some rattling in the front of the car. I'm not sure if anyone else had this problem. Wondering if it's from
Lowering the car or something else is loose
Also there is a part on the shock at the bottom the I can also adjust. What is this for. Is it to lower the car more???

Did you adjust the ride height by adjusting the upper rings that the actual spring sit on? if so thats not how you adjust ride height, those are for preload only, and youll have to reset preload.

You need to adjust ride height by loosening the lower ring and spinning the threaded shock into the lower mount.

How do I reset the preload? Does it just go tight to the spring or some other way? I really wish I just left it alone!
