Can I get WILWOOD BRAKES off a 2001 WS6 to fit a GS300
Im thinking about buying some 6 pistons WILWOOD front brakes from a WS6 for $500 from my friend. Just wondering can I get a bracket from WILWOOD to make them fit on my 2GS.

wow, good buddy to be giving you $2,244.35 brakes for $500
just happened to read something the other night that might be helpful to you,if u get modified mag look at page # 12 of the may 2011 issue....Mark Valskis from Brembo North America has a great write up on brakes and how sometimes changing brakes from other manufactures doesn't always upgrade the brakes.
specifically things like how they are trying to dispel the myth that more equals better as it relates to components of the brake system, calipers in particular and also "by using component that are well outside the bounds (of the standard ABS parameters), especially as it relates to fluid volume-which is impacted by caliper piston area, caliper stiffness and so on-the ABS system performance suffers"
they use this example a Subaru wrx has approximately 30 more brake piston area that a Porsche 911. but people are taking the calipers from the Porsche application and applying it to the WRX (all other things being equal). The WRX would result in a 30% reduction in braking torque and a significant (and very unsafe) shift of brake balance to the rear of the vehicle....(thus sacrificing performance for style) and they use the example of the old honda crowd how they SHOULD change the master cylinder when upgrading to the TYPE-R's to properly push the fluid and enhance tthe brake pedal feel and firmness
let me see if i can find the article online
EDIT: here it is

bottom line sometimes even when you go bigger your not improving your breaking
