Question Is this dangerous?

I mounted my new wheels yesterday and I got started today working out some of the rubbing in the rear. I heard a little rubbing in the front too, but less frequent. So after rolling and shaving the rear, all the rubbing was fixed. I turned my attention to the fronts, and while I see where I was rubbing on the fender liner, I noticed the tire looks dangerously close to the steering knuckle. I didn't see any marks on the tire from hitting it. Do I need to worry about this or does the suspension bouncing not affect this suspension component? Pics below to show wtf i'm talking about.

2.)

3.)

4.)

Thanks guys!

That last pic really shows it the best. Further info, front wheel is 20x8.5 +38 with a 245/35 tire. Thanks for any input guys.

that looks scary close to the tire. it looks like it could touch and even rip the tire. but does the tire move with the whole assembly maybe it will not touch

Since the upper control arm pulls the steering arm with it as the suspension moves up and down, you should be fine. Looks OK to me but I hope a few other folks chime in to give you addtional comfort that there's nothing to worry about.

if it doesnt hit right now it wont hit later on since the UCA moves up n down with the wheel.

now.. if your tires somehow expanded a inch or 2 you have a problem lol

I know it's a tight fit back there but as long as your front wheels dont wobble you'll be ok. Things that would cause your front wheel to wobble would be a busted wheel bearing, loose axle nut

Yeah you should be good bro. Just watch the bumps at speed demon speeds. I needed further confirmation so after the fender roll, I went with 245/30/22.

if it bothers you....just add a spacer to push it away from the UCA.

Like others have said you'll be fine. It all moves together so it won't hit. Now if you ever have to get the car towed on dollies expect the two-truck driver to b**ch about getting the strap between the tire and the bolt.
