Default L-Tuned Springs + Stock Shocks. Will it work?

Just wondering if I can put L-Tuned springs on my stock shocks.

How much of a drop will it give me?

Any of you guys have pictures?

Thanks!

You can use L-tuned springs with stock shocks. Their not aggressive springs at all so the stock ones (providing they're still good) will be fine.

It should lower your car about 1" all around. I'll try to post pictures with oem 17s. I'll probably take some more once I remove the l-tuned springs from my car.

L-Tuned Performance Road Springs

Computer-wound from chrome-silica steel wire these road springs feature an increased rate for enhanced handling and also reduce ride height slightly to provide the GS Series with a more assertive appearance.

TRD's L-Tuned Lowering Springs drop the GS Series center of gravity and provide an increase spring rate, reducing the GS's tendency to roll or sway during hard cornering. L-Tuned springs will increase the GS's cornering stability without sacrificing ride quality.

Approximately 20mm reduced height and is compatible with your factory original shock absorbers.

Here's a picture from the CL photo gallery of slickgt1

This should give you an idea of the drop. I had these for years and loved the "mild mannered" performance and almost stock like ride. I've been trying to find this low/little noise comfortable ride in coilovers for years (working on coilover three )

Wow...extremely helpful.

I looked at this picture, then at a pic of my GS and it looks like I have 4x4 status!

Here are some old pictures:

As you can see, it's not going to slam your car. It's a nice way to close the factory's 10ft gap. These pics were with 235/45/17 tires. I'm running 245/45/17s in the front now so they close up the gap a bit more..

I think quite a few here would agree with me in the statement that if you're going so far as to remove and replace your springs, you probably should replace your shocks with something like KYB-II's or Bilstein HD's.

That won't lower it in any way though, correct?

I might be corrected but I don't think it provides any addtional lowering.

Well thanks for all the help guys, but I think I'm going to go for the eibach springs in the FS section. Want a little more drop.

Awesome. The ones I'm looking to get are Eibachs and have been cut 1 coil. Not sure if that's ok or not.
