Default What are OEM pads on a 1998 GS400?

OK,

I've searched the threads but cannot find an answer.

What are the OEM pads on a 1998 GS400? And besides a dealer, where can I get them?

Thanks in advance!

Isn't this answering itself?

The OEM pads are the Original equipment pads with Toyota (lexus) part numbers.
If you're looking for a definition of pads, then these are the thing that make your car slow down when you press the deceleratrix.

If you want to save money and avoid full MSRP, you can get them online. Usually the online stores are still Lexus/Toyota dealers, but with a parts department that offer discounted prices.

Parts.com usually ends up being cheapest for me(usually seems to be fulfilled from Pembroke Pines Lexus).

OEM BMW brake pads are Pagids. They have a part number but no, BMW doesn't make them.

I don't think Toyota/Lexus make brake pads, so no I don't think the question answers itself.

Wrt to the pad definition, try being smart before being a smarta$$

Well, with that attitude, no wonder no one else has posted to this thread yet.

I'll help out a little more and try to read between the lines:

I take it that your question really is "Who makes Lexus brake pads?" instead of "what are the oem pads".
To answer this, it's said that Sumitomo or Akebono supplies Lexus/Toyota.
I still have no idea what you intend to accomplish with that question.
If your intent is to save some money, but you want to stick with OEM, I think shopping online for OEM part is better then trying to find a non-Toyota but Sumitomo branded part.

Thanks for being completely ungrateful and not willing to take a joke.
