Unhappy Brakes dont respond well after front brake change

hello,

I just have a question...i recently replaced my front brake pads on my 2006 GS430 and now all of the lights on the dash (VDC/BRAKE..ETC) are on and the brakes do not respond at all..i will say that i only bled the front brakes and not the rear because i did not change them. Also, when i'm driving the initial press puts the pedal almost to the floor but if i release and press again the pressure is there and the brakes respond like they should and sometimes it causes the left front tire to lock up and skid....i have no idea what happened or whats going on....also these are the 4 piston big brakes that come factory on the vehicle....any help on this would be great..also, the car has about 95K on it...

Have you checked your sensor? You may have not put it back together completely.

Did you press your brakes ALL the way down, and then made the brakes freeze? If not, you should. Then, you should turn your car on, and then press the brakes to settle them in correctly. Try that.
