Default So my rotors..

ok so i have a RMM BBK (Rebadged Supra TT i believe) and originally the rotors have slots in them... well now the slots are worn down and the rotors somewhat resemble a blank now.

Question is should i replace rotors?

Measure the rotor thickness and see how much they have left. If they are worn beyond the slots, then I'd recomend you change them out. Look into the DBA 4000 series rotors. They are very very good for what they cost. I'd rate them up their with other rotors found on BBK. I have it on my supra now and they hold up just as good as the rotors on my D2 BBK.

You may want to get a hold of R1 to see if they've fixed the fitment issue. Coco-bun bought a set and it seems like the holes for the wheel studs were too big, so the rotors shifted whenever you stepped on the brakes.

I have R1 rotors myself, but then again, I dont track my car so these regular rotors will do.

While I understand the the DBA rotors are expensive, they are every bit worth the price. My friend tracks his car for the last three years and have light up these rotors and they are still running strong without a problem. No warping or cracking issues. I guess you gotta decide if you would rather pay for something once and have it switched out or buy the cheap stuff and replace it often. For most people who don't track their car, I'd say stick with the OEM rotors with upgraded lines, pads, and fluid.
