Stainless Brake Lines
I'm looking at upgrading to stainless brake lines on my 400. Any difference between manufacturers? How big of a difference do they make when used with stock brakes?
Techna Fit
Goodridge
both brands i found on EBAY for about $100

You get a really nice pedal feel out of it, huge reduction in pedal mush. Will it help you stop any quicker(?)...not really.
I have no personal experience with the brands you named (I have Stoptech's) but I believe them to be reputable brands.

I'm looking into this as well and after searching on the forums and google, there are a few options:
1. EBC Red Special Edition SS Brake Lines: http://www.lextasy.com/product_1112_detailed.htm
2. Goodrich G-Stop SS Brake Lines: http://www.luxurymods.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=447
3. Technafit SS Brake Lines: https://www.upscaleautomotive.com/p-...xus-gs300.aspx
4. Rotora SS Brake Lines: the website doesn't seem to work but its www.rotora.com
I have a set of Earl's SS Brake lines in my other car and they are great. Just trying to decide on which one to get.

Don't even bother with those "Special Edition" Ebc lines, that is a HUGE waste of money, all that makes them any different than the regular $100 lines is the red sleeve on the outside. Any of the brands you listed are fine but I wouldn't pay more than $110 for brake lines.

I have the Techna Fit lines. Got mine from HPF.com. I found these a little easier to install than the goodridge. Reason being is that the peice that mates up to the hard line actually swivels allowing you to adjust it as much as you want with out taking it off, although it really doesnt make THAT big off a difference, its just one of those little luxuries. This is the piece Im talking about. The silver piece.
As you can see I chose the clear PVC coating. Not a single complaint. Honestly I dont really think there will be that much of a difference (or any at all) using different companies, I mean it just a hose with stainless steel wire wrapped around it. Here are more of the Techna Fit for those interested
Here is the hardware they come with. (comes with 4, I just have 2 pictured) Banjo bolts and crush washers, you'll have to reuse your C-clips and clips that hold the line to the bracket in the wheel well
