How much to cut factory bumpstops for NF210's?
I'm installing NF210/KYB's this weekend and searched and couldn't find any hard facts on how much to cut the factory bumpstops.

basically with a lower suspension the shock will be hitting the hard bump stop more often because you are limiting travel. This will make the ride bumpy because instead of the shock doing it's job by moving up and down, it's trying to compress and riding on the harder bumpstop instead.
If you cut yours in half for the DF's I would think I need to trim less than that for the NF's. Anyone?

It didn't really matter. The Tanabe spring doesn't lower enough to really hit the bumpstop. You'll probably only hit it if you bottom out hard. Most of the guys who are slammed cut their bumpstops, but springs like the Tanabe NF, L-tuned, etc will never reach the limit unless you intentionally drive over a dip or a speedbump at 234234mph
