Vibration from throttle
Ok I installed my new RMM strut bar this weekend.
First off the strut bar is awesome, beefy and strong.
But here is the thing, it is touching the factory engine cover and when i get in the car and start it the car is a lot louder in the cabin during idle. Once I start to go it dies down a little bit. I also feel like this vibration through the throttle when first accelerating.
Is it because the bar is pushing down on the throttle body???? What should I do I cant stand it. Should I loosen the bar and retighten it where it isnt hitting the cover???
Thanks guys

Exactly. I've just gotten a RMM front STB, and talking to others I haven't put it on because I'm waiting on my spacers to arrive from Carson so it will clear. I'd guess that that's your problem. Call up Steve/Gordon @ Carson. Per PHML, I ordered 2 spacers/side, for a total of 4 to give me ~1/2" clearance. Once they get here I can post my own personal experience.

well....I actually needed 6 spacers....3 on each side to clear the engine cover....any more and you wont have enuff thread on the bolts to tighten down the nuts.
The other alternative is to remove the engine cover.
