Default Carbing Strut Tower Brace

Thinking about ordering carbing strut tower brace (Model 24150) It looks like this is the only carbing model still available from MVP. This brace is for the Supra TT. I've researched and looked at all the old post. It seems it will fit but may need a couple of spacers. Anybody have this exact bar??

Here's some pics I've pulled but can't tell exactly which model bar is being used.

i have this bar. you will need like a 3mm spacer (or just double up on the top plates) if you have the ge engine (because of the intake manifold). it will fit just fine with a gte.

Kohinoor,

I was going to PM you. I figured if anyone knew it was you. I'm NA-T so I figured I might have to do a couple of spacers. Who did you order your carbing roll bar from? Can I order same place??

Thanks,

Shane

aliga probably has some extra plates. i dont remember where i ordered it to be honest. i bought it maybe 4-5 years ago. i have bought a lot of stuff from mvp though, great guys.

you will also have to extend/modify the plastic piece that mates with the master cylinder as it is a bit short for an sc.

Thanks for the replies guys.

jwin,

To much work and money for not a lot of results. I run a machine shop, spacers won't be a problem if needed.

I have one on my SC4. I cut the master-cylinder stopper screw itself with a hack-saw for it to fit properly, took like 30 seconds.
I also use the washers that came with the bar to allow it to fit over my 1uz.

GTSPec looks good. The only problem I see is I have the tien EDFC and I don't know if the motors will clear the way the brace is made. The below pics are Raines that I borrowed. Any thoughts?
