Default Brake Pad

guys,

what is the minimum brake pad % is safe for driving (and braking)?

How much does it cost to replace those (front and rear)?

are these covered by warranty?

There is wear indicator when it is time to replace. You'll hear it.

are they making any noise ??

they usually have a wear indicator(they sound squeaky)

are you a DIY

i think you can get front and rear for less than $100

but im not sure

dont think these are covered under warranty ...

i was just curious since CPO cars usually has > 50%...

is that sound for any GS model years ?

Brakes are pretty easy to do. EBC Greens is used alot by CL members.

I tried going that route, but EBC have to be warmed up to do well and there is mixed results depending on your rotors. I swear by Akebono PRO-ACT ceramics and from what I heard they last 2x longer. I had them on for awhile now and they don't need to be warmed up. And little to no brake dust compared to OEM.
