Default Choice of Brake Rotor and Pad for GS4

Nice forum.
I just got a black 99 GS4 with Nav couple months ago.
The sterling wheel vibrate when I brake at high speed.
I suspect the front rotor are wraped.
I check local part store here is the deal.
Generic rotor,$70/each (two year warranty)
Semi-Metallic pad (lifetime warranty)

I also found out Tirerack carry
$66/each Brembo rotor, (no warranty)
Akebono Ceramic pad $70 (no warranty)

The Brembo rotor should have better quality, but no warranty.
I want your guys opinion on should I go with ceramic pad or the regular semi-metallic pad if cost is not an issue.
What are the benefit of ceremic pad?
The car is for street use. I just want new brtake to replace stock part that does not make noise.
BTW, does anybody know whether the OEM Lexus pad are organic or semi-metallic.
I heard semi-metallic pad make noise when braking, is it true?

thanks,
Ben

OK. I am kind of impatient.
I went ahead and ordered the Brembo rotors for both front and rear from Tire Rack.
Also, got front and rear Akebono Pro-ACT ceramic brake pads from a local shop.
Just finished the installed and went for a test drive.
Vibration is gone.
Car stop fine and absolute no noise.
I love it.
Total part cost is $430. I reuse the parking brake shoe since it is still in good shape.
Took 2.5 hours to complete the job.
