Default (Texas) Any way to register cars without having to put on the windshield stickers?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to register a non-vintage car in Texas without having to put on the windshield stickers? I can't find anything about show cars exceptions or anything like that, which is surprising given many other states have alternative rules for show cars.

If there is, i sure havent heard of one. Theyre pretty stubborn about this (as well as front plates... which is really just a joke to pull over and profile drivers, says my LEO brother).

I don't think there is. I'm from the DFW area and they make a big deal if your stickers are out of date. I'd imagine it would be even worse if you had Texas plates and no stickers.

You could always register the car in Oklahoma and not have to deal with stickers or a front license plate.
